Carinity and Dementia Training Australia (DTA) have been working together to develop a Tailored Training Program (TTP) specific to the needs of Carinity staff.

This training program has been developed from the feedback we received from you and your colleagues about dementia training opportunities.

TTP Goals

  • Increase in staff knowledge of dementia
  • Increase in staff capacity to care for people with dementia
  • Decrease in number of reported incidents of responsive behaviours – measured pre and post on your internal system
  • Increased clinical knowledge in pain management, recognition, assessment and treatment of pain
