About the service

Fellowships at DTA are coaching partnerships.

We work closely with workplace leaders and change agents to develop their leadership skills and facilitate knowledge transfer to create real, sustainable practice change within their organisations.

  • Build capacity within aged care organisations to facilitate knowledge transfer and practice improvement in the care of people living with dementia
  • Facilitate practice change aimed at meeting the identified TTP training objectives
  • Develop leadership skills of individual staff to lead a change process
  • Create agreement and intentions around the need to change practice
  • Promote adoption of knowledge into practice
  • Identify strategies to support adherence of new knowledge in practice.

Case study

A project to provide more meaningful long-distance connection between residents

“DTA’s team based at La Trobe University provided incredibly helpful and empowering support to staff throughout the project, including a literature review and guidance on evaluation. This support was essential in us being able to deliver real, tangible results for our residents.”
