Australian Journal of Dementia Care
AJDC Journal Club
The AJDC Journal Club is an initiative of the Australian Journal of Dementia Care (AJDC) and Dementia Training Australia (DTA).
-
Reflect on practice
-
Stimulate discussion at your service or organisation
-
For all staff working with people with dementia
Like the Journal itself, the AJDC Journal Club is aimed at all staff working with people with dementia in your service, facility or centre. Both are valuable resources to stimulate discussion of the needs of people with dementia and care practice.
The AJDC Journal Club offers staff an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day pressures of work, reflect on practice and encourage regular team discussions about how some of the ideas in the articles in the AJDC might be useful in your service.
To make it easier to hold Journal Club discussions with your team members, you can access PDF copies of the Journal Club Discussion Guides and articles below.

About the AJDC
The Australian Journal of Dementia Care is a quarterly publication committed to improving the quality of care provided for people living with dementia.
Showcasing good practice, it keeps readers abreast of developments in dementia care, training, research and technology, as well as the latest resources, events, news and views.
It is grounded firmly in practice and provides relevant, high-quality and well-researched articles with solutions for dementia care settings, written by practitioners, researchers and other experts in the field of dementia care from Australia and around the world. There is a strong emphasis on ‘knowledge translation’, which closes the gap between dementia care research and practice.
