A free app to help people with dementia and their carers locate and rate dementia- friendly places around the world.
It lists and allows users to rate cafes, restaurants, shops and other public places in the following categories: staff interaction; physical layout/design; clarity of wayfinding; and atmosphere, ambiance and calmness.
The app was developed by UK academic Dr Katie Brittain with community input through the App Movement Platform as part of a research project at Newcastle University, UK. For iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
