Partnership In Practicing Care: Quality Dental Care For People With Dementia

An online video series to educate dentists and their teams on best practice care for people with dementia.

Partnership In Practicing Care: Quality Dental Care For People With Dementia emphasises the importance of continuity of care, using preventative dentistry and making the practice more welcoming and accommodating for people with dementia.

The six video modules include:

  • Information about dementia.
  • The clinical implications of using general anaesthesia and sedation for people with dementia.
  • The advantages of taking a multi-disciplinary approach to creating treatment plans.

The videos have been produced by the Australian Dental Association (ADA), in partnership with Dementia Australia.

The resource is freely available to dentists and allied dental practitioners via the ADA’s CDP portal. Details: www.ada.org.au
