Yarning to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal people

Yarning is a method of communication that enables services providers to engage with older Aboriginal people and their families in a culturally safe way that is friendly and informal.

Join Professor Dawn Bessarab, Director at the Centre for Aboriginal Medical and Dental Health, UWA, as she explains to us what yarning is,  the benefits of using yarning as a communication tool and how it can enable service providers to engage and build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal people living with dementia.
