Population studies have been part of this transformation, providing evidence for change and evidence of change. These are important across the globe in different ways for different groups and for structures within and across societies, including how we think about how we address Sustainable Development Goals and improve social justice.

Cambridge Institute of Public HealthProfessor Brayne is lead principal investigator in the group of Medical Research Council Cognitive Function and Ageing Studies which have informed and will continue to inform national policy and scientific understanding of dementia in whole populations. She has been responsible for training programmes in epidemiology and public health for undergraduates and postgraduates since the early 1990s..
