What you do at DTA

I am a Medication Management Consultant and I work with teams from Residential Age Care Facilities (RACFs) to optimise the use of antipsychotic medication as part of DTA’s Medication Management Consultancy (MMC) service.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Being able to provide support to RACF teams as they review internal procedures and then guiding them through creating new standardise repeatable processes based on best practice guidelines and person centered care to optimise the use of antipsychotic medication and improve the lives of their residents. Being part of the DTA team and knowing that our work is making a difference for people living with dementia and improving their quality of life is very special.

Organised, professional and friendly.

What’s a usual ‘day in the office’ like for you?

Meeting with my RACF teams currently participating in an MMC. Also meeting with the DTA WA/SA team to discuss ways to continuously improve our service and working on new ideas, training materials and resources.

Arial as it is nice and easy to read
